We are delighted to confirm the signing of attacker Kieran Dolan from Gala Fairydean Rovers.
The 24-year-old forward, who broke through at Albion Rovers, joins us on an 18 month deal from the Netherdale side, where he finished top scorer last season.
Clydebank manager Gordon Moffat explained: “Being new to the Lowland League, we have obviously been paying attention to players and he is one that caught the eye and we’re delighted to get an agreement with Gala to bring him on board now.
“He has only just turned 24 at the end of the year there, so in terms of profile he is a good fit for us. He’s very athletic with a lot of pace and power, but to go with that he has great technique, an excellent left foot and is a really good finisher. That is reflected in him being top goalscorer for Gala last year, and he’s got good numbers again this year despite playing from the side for quite a lot of the season.
“One of the big attractions for us in terms of where he fits in, is that he is a forward who can play across all the forward areas. He is comfortable playing off the sides, but is also good being up as a number nine so gives us good options. The timing just works well with Aaron Black moving to Australia. Azza will spend January with us and then be heading out, so it was important we got someone in who could fill a similar role.
“We’re delighted to get him in on a long-term contract and for Kieran to be part of the journey going forward.”
