We can confirm that defender Owen Carey has departed the club.
Owen originally joined us on loan from St Mirren last season and made 12 appearances on our way to the title and promotion, before returning for a second stint this term after recovering from injury.
We’d like to thank Owen for all his efforts across his two spells with the club and wish him the best of luck for the future.
Clydebank manager Gordon Moffat commented: “I wish Owen well as he leaves to seek regular game time.
“He came in to help us at a time when we were very light in that area of the pitch but he now needs regular game time after fully recovering from a bad injury. We were keen to keep him as part of the group but after some discussions he has decided to pursue other options.
“I wish him all the very best, he’s a young player with a really bright future in the game and was a pleasure to work with again.”
