Adam Hodge pens contract extension

We are delighted to announce Adam Hodge has signed a contract extension to stay with the club until the end of the 2025/26 season.

The 28-year-old right back first joined the club in 2021 and has racked up 114 appearances so far for the club, making 30 outings this term as part of the Champions squad.

Adam said: “It was an easy decision in the end, especially after having such a successful season in terms of winning the league. In terms of minutes and performances, I’ve really enjoyed being in the team when I’ve been in it and I think you’ve seen by what we’ve delivered that it’s a special group in there.

“You can see the difference the boys who have come in have made, there is no denying that. They have all been brilliant additions to an already very good squad.

“The gaffer and Grace have both been really honest with me from the word go. It was never the case we were going to try and win everything at the first go, it was always going to be a progressive project and you can see it bear fruit this season.

“The gaffer and I have had the discussion and obviously every player wants to be fit and play every single week. We have the running joke that I’m trapped in a 35-year-old’s body so it’s not getting easier! When you see boys who are sweeping up awards, their availability is incredible.
