Clydebank FC are delighted to announce the arrival of Dean Cairns from Darvel.
The 26-year-old central midfielder joins the Bankies on a two year deal, fresh off the back of a double cup winning season ‘doon the brae’ and will wear the number eight jersey.
Dean said: “It’s been a funny week, winning the Scottish on Sunday and having a new club by Wednesday but I’m delighted to be here.
“When you win two trophies in the one season you’ve got to look at that as success
“I know quite a few of the boys here; Craigy (Truesdale), Fraz (Johnstone), Cal (Graham) and a few others so hopefully it is an easy transition for me. I know what I’m coming to, a big club with a big fanbase so there were a lot of boxes ticked.
“I’ve obviously played against the club a fair few times so I was fully aware of what goes on down here so there wasn’t much convincing required. “
