We’re delighted to announce U20s captain Matthew Monaghan has signed a first team contract until the end of next season.
The ex-Partick Thistle U18s defender recently made his first team debut in our defeat to Celtic B, with manager Gordon Moffat moving quickly to tie down the centre back on an extended deal.
Moff commented: “Monny has been captain of the U20s and has been training with us for much of the season.
“He has shown up really well and it was important we got him on a longer term contract. It’s always great to see another player come through the academy and break into the first team and we’re looking forward to working with him over the next 18 months.”
